If you have an eye for detail and enjoy creating a safe and clean environment for some of the most vulnerable people in society, then join the team at Spring Wood Lodge as a Housekeeper. Weekend shifts will be required on a monthly rota schedule. You will be an integral part of the housekeeping team at a service for women over the age of 18 who have complex emotional and mental health problems associated with significant risk behaviours, where you will be responsible for cleaning all areas of the service, including wards, office spaces, bedrooms and visitors area. Working closely with the maintenance team youll ensure all areas of the service are spotless and be able to confidently deliver high standard cleaning services. Youll receive all necessary training to get you started and join the dedicated team, where you can make a positive difference and be part of changing lives for the better. Main duties of the job
As a Housekeeper at Spring Wood Lodge, you will be an integral part of the housekeeping team, creating a safe and clean environment for vulnerable individuals. You will be responsible for cleaning all areas of the service, including wards, office spaces, bedrooms, and visitor areas. The role requires weekend shifts on a monthly rota schedule. You will work closely with the maintenance team to ensure all areas are spotless and confidently deliver high-standard cleaning services. You will receive necessary training and have opportunities for career development. As a Housekeeper you will be:
- Maintaining required security standards of the hospital by following relevant policies and procedures as defined by the Hospital.
- An active member of the team with a range of responsibility over the day-to-day operation.
- Maintaining excellent telephone etiquette and ability to meet and greeting visitors in a professional manner.
- Establishing and maintaining good working relationships with all staff, visitors and service users.
- Helping create a positive culture.
- Undertaking any other tasks requested that are appropriate for the post.
- Attending mandatory and statutory training on an annual basis as required by Elysium Healthcare.
