Housekeeper (Accident & Emergency West Cumberland Hospital) .
As part of the team you will:
- To provide support to nursing staff to ensure the clinical area is effectively cleaned and that the ward is productive in respect to stocks, equipment and stores management
- To provide an effective reception to patients, visitors and nursing staff in order to support the delivery of optimum patient care
- Provide a range of housekeeping duties such as cleaning of equipment and beds, giving out patient meal/drinks and assisting patients with meals
Main duties of the job
Replenish stock
Assist with serving meals and drinks to the patients
Routine cleaning and basic maintenance of cleaning equipment
Attend all Mandatory training sessions
Order weekly stores and put away on delivery
Works as part of a team maintaining a high standard of cleanliness on hospital wards, clinical areas and other Trust premises.
