ABOUT THE ROLE Your focus as Host/Hostess will be preparing serving trollies and cleaning satellite kitchens, laying tables, assisting in order taking, and serving meals to residents within the Home.

Main duties of the job

As a Host/Hostess at Avery Healthcare, your main responsibilities include preparing serving trollies, cleaning satellite kitchens, setting tables, assisting in meal order taking, and serving meals to residents. Additional duties involve supporting residents in choosing their meal options at the time of dining, assisting with the dining service, ensuring dining tables are set according to standard procedures, and displaying menus that reflect the meal choices for the day. The role requires you to hold a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate, demonstrate high standards of personal hygiene, and have experience working in a similar setting such as restaurants or hotels.
