Are you a hardworking, wellorganised individual who thrives on delivering excellent customer service? If so, join Thornford Park as a part time Hospital Shop Assistant to support the smooth daily running of our hospital shop. In this important role, you will ensure the shop operates efficiently, safely and in line with our standards. You will be responsible for replenishing and reordering stock, unpacking deliveries, assisting with stocktaking, and maintaining accurate records. Youll make sure items are stored correctly, monitor usage, rotate stock and help deliver goods to wards and departments when needed. Keeping the shop and storage areas clean, wellorganised and compliant with Occupational Health & Safety requirements is also a key part of the role. You will use basic IT skills to communicate with suppliers, place orders via online procurement systems, and ensure pricing and labelling is accurate. Strong communication skills and a friendly, serviceuserfocused approach are essential, as youll be interacting with staff, service users and external contacts regularly.
