Job summary
An exciting opportunity to take your first step in a career in Healthcare Science. You will be working in the Radiation Protection Service helping our experienced team in the Approved Dosimetry Service. At the same time you will be following a level 2 apprenticeship in Healthcare Science, getting to understand the science behind the role.
Main duties of the job
You will be assisting our Healthcare Science Associate in preparing and reading personal radiation monitors. Full training will be provided. You will be part of a wider Radiation Protection team of 40 Clinical Scientists, Clinical Technologists and Adminstrative Staff. You will need to demonstrate good attention to detail, dexterity and focus.
