Job summary
Fitzrovia Medical Centre is seeking an enthusiastic, compassionate and proactive Health Care Assistant (HCA)to join our friendly and supportive team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HCA who is passionate about improving patient outcomes and supporting the health and wellbeing of our local community.
The successful candidate will join our team, working alongside another experienced HCA.They will work closely with our GPs, nurses, pharmacists and wider multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care while supporting the smooth running of the practice. The role includes both clinical and administrative responsibilities, with a strong focus on patient-centred care, prevention and health promotion
Main duties of the job
- Undertake delegated clinical duties including:
- Ensure clinical rooms remain fully stocked, clean and organised.
- Maintain infection prevention and control standards at all times.
- Accurately document consultations and clinical activity within SystmOne.
- Escalate any abnormal findings or safeguarding concerns appropriately.
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centred care in accordance with policies, local protocols and NHS standards.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with information governance policies.
- Contribute to service improvement and support the wider multidisciplinary team.

Job responsibilities
