If you are new to care you must complete a care certificate when you commence employment with CDDFT and be paid on Annex 21 arrangements (£25272) until completion.

Main duties of the job
County Durham and Darlington Foundation Trust are seeking motivated, dynamic Healthcare Assistants to join our team, who will complement our current experienced and specialist workforce, who are passionate about providing optimal care for our patients. If you are an experienced Healthcare Assistant you can also apply.
Please ensure you have full ID documents available to bring with you. Full ID information can be found on the document in supporting information and you must prepare for the day by sourcing references to cover the last 3 years (email address of employers). You must also provide GCSE certificates in English language and Maths or equivalent to match the person spec and will need to provide these on the day. If you are unable to provide these on the day you will not be interviewed.
This role is 24/7 rota so we will not be able to offer specific plans (nights or days only). please Confirm in your application you can work 24/7 rota

We provide hospital services from two acute sites - Darlington Memorial Hospital and University Hospital of North Durham. We have a centre for planned care in Bishop Auckland and provide care from community hospitals in Chester-le-Street, Shotley Bridge, Barnard Castle, Sedgefield and Weardale as well as over 80 other community based settings and providing care in patients' homes.
