Main duties of the job
As a Healthcare Assistant, your primary role will involve assisting patients and supporting team members such as clinical and Nurse Lead in various patient care duties. You will also be responsible for maintaining compliance with CQC outcomes, which includes working with patients with long-term conditions like diabetes. Experience in Phlebotomy is essential as performing clinical procedures such as new patient health checks, BMI, blood pressure, pulse, and simple wound care fall under your responsibilities. Additionally, you will handle administrative tasks including new patient registrations, stock control, and ordering. You should have primary care experience, basic PC skills, and be adept at adapting to changing priorities, compassionately handling patient interactions while maintaining confidentiality and data security.

Main Responsibilities:
As a valued member of the Operose Health team, your key duties will include:
- Assisting with patient duties as required and support other team members such as clinical and Nurse Lead with patient care.
- Supporting the Practice with duties related to CQC outcomes and ensuring compliance is maintained.
- You will be working with patients with long term conditions such as Diabetes etc. So must have experience in Phlebotomy.
- Provide clinical procedures such as new patient health checks, BMI, blood pressure, pulse and simple wound care.
- Completing administrative tasks such as new patient registrations, providing appropriate leaflets, stock control and ordering.

- Experience in a Primary Care setting and phlebotomy.
- Able to work within processes, procedures and maintain confidently and data security.
- Must be able to adapt with changing priorities and be personable, polite and patient with our patients.
- Must have basic PC skills such as Word, Excel and email.
- Ability to use own judgement and be aware of professional boundaries they are working to.
