Main duties of the job

As a Healthcare Assistant Dermatology Technician at HealthHarmonie, you will play a vital role in supporting our dermatology services and ensuring a high-quality patient experience across our clinics.

You will be responsible for accurately capturing high-quality images of skin lesions and securely uploading them to our Tele Dermatology platform to support clinical assessment and diagnosis. You will work closely with clinicians and administrative teams, ensuring all patient records and data are handled accurately and efficiently.

In addition, you will enhance the patient journey by delivering a welcoming and professional experience, carrying out GDPR and relevant health and safety checks, and supporting the smooth running of clinic operations. You will assist with appointment coordination and ensure all clinical areas meet strict infection control standards to provide a safe environment for both patients and staff.

Your contribution will be essential in delivering an efficient, compassionate, and patient-focused dermatology service.

Working Pattern

Please note our service operates seven days a week and you will be required to work 5 out of 7 days. Shift patterns are generally between 07:00/07:30 17:30/18:00.

You will be expected to travel across the listed Grampian clinic sites.

  • MUST HAVE a driving licence and access to your own vehicle
  • Strong attention to detail, particularly when capturing and handling patient data
  • Confident using IT systems and digital platforms
  • Previous healthcare or administrative experience is desirable but not essential
  • A passion for delivering high-quality patient care and taking pride in your work
  • You will be enrolled on our comprehensive training programme from day one, which will equip you with the knowledge and technical skills required for the role.
