We currently have exciting opportunities available for part-time Health Visitors to be part of our team.
At Homerton Healthcare, our Health Visiting service is experiencing a dynamic period of growth. You’ll be joining a collaborative team that includes Health Visitors, Public Health Staff Nurses, and Community Nursery Nurses, all dedicated to improving the health outcomes of our youngest residents. As a key member of this team, you will deliver vital early intervention and support through the Healthy Child Programme, making a lasting impact on families when they need it most.
Aligned with one of our local Neighbourhoods, you’ll work closely with the City of London and Hackney Children and Family Hubs, allowing families to access a comprehensive range of services all in one place.

Main duties of the job
As a Health Visitor within our team, you will be at the forefront of delivering personalised care to children and families, ensuring the best possible outcomes. You will be a named link to GP practices, Early Years Settings, and Nurseries, and manage vulnerable children by attending multi-disciplinary team meetings. Your expertise will guide health promotion activities and key interventions, such as integrated development reviews using ASQ and ELIM questionnaires.
You’ll also supervise the nursery nurse team’s health promotion work, working closely with local children's centres and parents to provide tailored advice that supports children’s development.
