Job Description:

Health Content Editor

Salary: From £36,400 + Fantastic Benefits

Location status: Hybrid - 2 Days a week in the office

Location: Angel Court (London) or Bupa Place (Manchester)

Role Type: Secondment – 12 Months

Shift pattern: Full Time - 37.5 Hours

As a Health content editor, you are responsible for reviewing and editing our library of medical topics and lifestyle articles, managing relationships with clinicians, and supporting stakeholders with their requests for health content.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be comfortable critically appraising evidence, data, and research to make content decisions.
  • Write and review different types and formats of health content.
  • Build relationships to influence stakeholders and focus on the needs of the user.
  • Contribute to and use our in-house health content style and production guides.
  • Work collaboratively with health content colleagues and other digital and clinical teams.
  • Create briefs for multimedia assets.
  • Contribute to content and process improvement conversations within the team.
  • Work closely with our bank of freelance editors.
  • Liaise with expert clinicians to obtain feedback and approval on content.
  • Help with coordinating our review planning process.
