Job summary

Main duties of the job

  • Providing clinical care delegated to you by a Registered Nurse, this includes, but is not limited to management of wounds and leg ulcers, administration of medicines and catheter care.
  • Providing personal care for patients.
  • Working with the wider multidisciplinary team.
  • Supporting patients to remain at home and avoid hospital admission.
  • Promoting self-care and independence.
  • To recognise and report changes in the patients condition, and any issues in respect of their health and management of care to the registered practitioner.
