Job summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join Sirona's senior finance team as Head of Management Accounts for Adult Services. In this strategic leadership role, you will lead a high-performing management accounts team, delivering a comprehensive management accounting service that supports operational services across the organisation.

Main duties of the job

Leading the Management Accounts team providing business information to the Adults and Specialist services divisions including

  • Monthly management accounts
  • Costing projects, bids and tenders
  • Assessing business cases
  • Statutory accounts

Essential

  • Qualified Accountant CCAB - with significant post qualification experience
  • Extensive knowledge of commercial sector Accounting and financial procedures and the ability to present these so that they are understood
  • Specialist knowledge in Management Accounting at a senior level within a large organisation.
  • Knowledge of NHS and Local Authority financial frameworks.
  • Advanced spread sheet skills e.g. linked spread sheets, pivot tables
  • Ability to communicate highly complex, sensitive or contentious information
  • Good management skills with demonstrable experience in managing staff.

Desirable

  • Well developed Project Management Skills
