Job overview
We are offering a substantive 0.2 WTE post for a General Practitioner to work alongside consultants, registrars and specialist nurses in the Dermatology Department at the Bristol Royal Infirmary. The Clinic provides services to patients throughout the Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire area.

- Full GMC registration including entry on the GP register Experience assessing pigmented lesions and suspected skin cancer Understanding of urgent suspected cancer pathways Positive approach to evidence-based practice Ability to communicate effectively with patients, relatives, clinical colleagues and support staff

The post holder will provide additional capacity within the Dermatology Surgical Service, undertaking assessment and treatment of patients requiring dermatological surgery, including management of suspected skin cancer lesions and contribution to associated skin cancer pathways. The post holder will work as part of the multidisciplinary dermatology team alongside consultant dermatologists and specialist nurses.
