As a Maintenance Assistant you will have:
- Assisting with ensuring that the service, buildings, facilities and equipment are maintained and fit for purpose.
- Utilising good DIY skills to ensure safety of service users.
- Assisting in regular checks and maintenance.
- Assisting in the repair and maintenance of all buildings.
- Assisting in all decorating.
- Reporting all faults and defects to management
- Participating in a 1 week retaining on-call rota for the purposes of emergency maintenance issues that arise.
- Coordinating and supporting contractors whilst on site and completing of all paperwork and tool checks.
To be successful in this role, you will:
- To comply with system and procedures.
- Have previous experience within a maintenance role.
- To work effectively as part of a team and independently.
- Show courtesy and respect to patients at all times to ensure that they enjoy the highest quality of service.
- Attend and participate in training sessions and staff meetings.

You’ll be caring for adult men 18+ who potentially have a forensic background and enduring mental health illnesses such as personality disorder, substance misuse issues and challenging behaviours.
