ABOUT THE ROLE Your focus as a Food and Beverage Team Member will be to support with the dining service and assisting residents with their meals. Other responsibilities will include: Supporting the residents with choosing their meal options at the time of dining. Ensuring that dining tables are set in accordance with the standard operating procedures.

Main duties of the job

As a Food and Beverage Team Member at Avery Healthcare, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the dining experience for residents at Greenholme House Care Home in Burley in Wharfedale. Your responsibilities include supporting residents with meal choices, ensuring dining tables are prepared according to standards, maintaining cleanliness at the front of house, and ensuring fresh homemade cakes and other snacks are available throughout the day. It is essential to be aware of residents' dietary requirements. To succeed in this role, you must exhibit compassion, dedication, and high personal hygiene standards. Experience in a similar environment, such as restaurants or hotels, is advantageous, and a basic Food Hygiene Certificate is beneficial. This role requires a DBS Disclosure check and proof of eligibility to work in the UK.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Your focus as a Food and Beverage Team Member will be to support with the dining service and assisting residents with their meals.

Other responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the residents with choosing their meal options at the time of dining.
• Ensuring that dining tables are set in accordance with the standard operating procedures.
• Keeping front of house clean, tidy and well-presented, and that dirty crockery is removed and replenished throughout the day.
• Ensuring fresh homemade cakes/biscuits are accessible in the bistro areas are replenished throughout the day as well as finger food and fresh fruit options.
• Being aware of residents dietary requirements.

• Demonstrate high standards of personal hygiene.
• Demonstrate compassion and commitment to the delivery of culinary services to residents.
• Have experience of working in a similar setting, restaurant or hotel would be desirable.
