Main duties of the job

As a Food and Beverage Assistant at Avery Healthcare, you'll support residents with meals, exemplifying compassion and dedication. Your role involves assisting dining services, supporting meal selection, tidying the dining area, providing accessible and replenished food items, and being aware of dietary needs. We seek individuals who embody the values of caring, supportive, honest, respectful, and accountable. High personal hygiene and experience in similar settings or a food hygiene certificate is desirable. A DBS check is required; Avery will cover the cost. Proof of UK work eligibility is necessary.

Keeping the front of the house clean, tidy, and well-presented and ensuring dirty crockery is removed and replenished throughout the day. Ensure fresh homemade cakes/biscuits are accessible in the bistro areas and replenished throughout the day, as well as finger food and fresh fruit options.
