We have general radiology requirements to cover cross-sectional imaging although sub-specialisms are welcome:
Applications are invited for 2 full-time post Interventional Consultant in Radiology, with an interest in General Radiology for United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust (ULHT). This post has been created to support the existing team across the working week, and further the expansion of interventional radiology services.

United Lincolnshire Hospitals (ULH) is an Acute Hospital Trust in the East Midlands providing acute services to the people of the Lincolnshire region and has a positive and successful approach to developing and delivering excellence in health care.
The Appointee will be expected, in conjunction with his / her colleagues, to provide a comprehensive radiology service to United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust (ULHT) to the highest standard.
From a base to be agreed provide reporting services to other sites within the trust. Any successful candidate may be expected to work on other sites within the Trust as required.
The Appointee will be expected, in conjunction with his / her colleagues, to provide a comprehensive radiology service to United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust (ULHT). Any successful candidate is expected to routinely work on the sites within the Trust as required.
The post may be flexible to some degree based on workload and activity. Team work is very important.
The post holder will support and work closely with the Clinical Director, Radiology Head of Service, Lead Nurse and Radiology Operational Managers.
The post holder shall have medical clearance arranged by the Trust before taking up employment.
The person appointed will be required to maintain his/her private residence in contact with the public telephone service and reside within reasonable access bearing in mind the duties of the post. The Trust requires the successful candidate to live within a distance of 10 miles by road of their main site.
Relocation expenses may be payable to the successful candidate in accordance with the Trust policy on relocation.
The United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust recognises its duties under the Health and
Safety at Work Act 1974 to ensure, as far as is reasonably practicable, the health, safety and welfare at work of all its employees. In addition the business of the Trust shall be conducted so as to ensure that patients, their relatives, contractors, voluntary workers, visitors and members of the public having access to the Trust premises and facilities are not exposed to risk to their health and safety.
All Medical and Dental staff under contract to the United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust (ULHT) will be expected to comply with the Trust Health and Safety Policies.
The successful candidate must be on the GMC’s register.
The post holder will be required to maintain and expand his/her clinical knowledge and skills and attend educational meetings to maintain CME.
The Trust has established a policy of Performance Development Review.
The post holder will be required to participate actively in the Trust education programme and to attend post-graduate and departmental meetings.
All consultants are expected to work with their clinical and management colleagues to maintain and develop the Trust’s services.
In addition, he/she will be required to:
emergency cover for colleagues during periods of absence

The referring clinical services include: Vascular Surgery, Hepatobiliary Surgery/Medicine, Renal and Transplant Medicine, Neurology and Neurosurgery, Oncology, ENT, Maxillofacial Surgery, Plastic Surgery, GI services, Obstetrics, Gynaecology, Paediatric services, Major Trauma, Orthopaedic, LCHS/LPFT, Primary Care and tertiary referrals.
Candidates must hold the Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists or an equivalent qualification and must either be on the Specialist Register, or within 6 months of anticipated receipt of a CCT at the time of interview.
