First Responder

We are looking for a First Responder to join our team to support clients across Cheshire, Liverpool, Lancashire and surrounding areas.

Full training will be given to set you on your path to being a First Responder. This position offers a variety of shifts and may involve day, night, sleeping/waking nights and attracts a competitive rate of pay, after training has been completed. (training provided during recruitments checks).

This role will support the Out of hours service provided by the Organisation on a rotational basis.

Hours of work:

You will work on a three day on, three day off rotation which includes working days, nights and weekends during your rotation which may be at short notice.

Main duties of the job

The successful applicant will be providing support to both adults and children who have the following needs:

Complex health needs

Mental health

Learning disabilities

Substance misuse

In addition to the above, this role will support the Out of hours service provided by the Organisation on a rotational basis.

Qualities successful applicants will have:

Must be driver

Must have experience in care

Be willing to undergo all training required to meet the needs of the client

Complex care experience would be an advantage however it is not essential as full training will be provided

Benefits:

Hourly rate of £15.60 per hour

Car Allowance = £250.00 per month

5.6 weeks paid annual leave per annum

Your responsibilities as a First Responder will include: Assisting and supporting vulnerable clients to enable them to live the life they choose (where possible) to promote their independence. Your role will include, companionship, supporting with housework, running errands and supporting with preparing and cooking meals. Administering medication may be required.

Skills and Experience required of our First Responder:

You are required to have good communication skills and have a desire to care for others. You are required to hold a full UK driving license, and have access to your own vehicle. Some previous experience would be advantageous.
