Position:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Family Nurse based at Drongan Health Centre. This post is offered on a permanent basis.
NOTE: Interviews for this post will be held on week commencing 8th June 2026.
Hours:
37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
From 1 April 2026, the working week for NHS Agenda for Change staff in Scotland will be reduced. Full-time hours will reduce from 37 to 36 hours (pro rata for part-time staff) without loss of earnings.
UK Driving Licence:
A UK driving licence is essential as this role, as this is a home visiting programme and will require extensive travel across Ayrshire and Arran, including our Island communities.
What you will do:
The Family Nurse Partnership (FNP) is a national, evidence based early intervention programme for first time mothers and their families. Using strengths based approaches and Motivational Interviewing skills you will work with an allocated caseload of young parents and their families to support them to identify their strengths and achieve their goals and aspirations for themselves and their children.
