Are you a Family and Systemic Psychotherapist passionate about delivering high quality mental health care?

We invite you to become part of our dedicated team at Parkview Clinic, a newly refurbished regional inpatient CAMHS facility in Moseley (Birmingham), surrounded by a serene woodland walk.

Ashfield: an 8-bed general adolescent unit with seclusion facility.  Heathlands: a 14-bed general adolescent unit for various mental health difficulties. Irwin: a 12-bed specialist eating disorder service. Rated ‘Good’ by CQC (2024).

Main duties of the job

  • To provide professional oversight and delivery of Systemic Family Therapy services for inpatient CAMHS.
  • To be responsible in collaboration with the Head of Psychological Therapies, clinical service managers and other senior leads for the provision and development of high quality and effective systemic family therapy services for the MHS division.
  • To lead the systemic family therapy service informed by national programmes of excellence, innovative ways of working and meeting increasing demand by driving forward a culture of quality improvement within the service via ensuring robust governance around access, direct and indirect interventions and discharge.
  • To provide professional leadership for all systemic family therapists working in Inpatient CAMHS, focusing on effective deployment of resource featuring a transformational and inclusive focus and looking for ways to do things better, quicker and more cost-efficient way to improve the patient experience.
  • To balance the above whilst delivering effective direct systemic family therapy interventions and associated clinical inputs into a designated service area.
