Are you an experienced Facilities professional with a passion for delivering high-quality services and leading teams to achieve excellence?

We are seeking a motivated and forward-thinking Facilities Manager (Domestic Services) to lead the delivery of Domestic Services across the Trust. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment for patients, visitors and staff, supporting both patient experience and infection prevention objectives.

As part of the Facilities Management Team, you will provide operational leadership for Domestic Services, ensuring compliance with the National Standards of Cleanliness 2025, driving continuous improvement and supporting the Trust's commitment to delivering Safe, Kind and Effective care.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will be responsible for the operational management of Domestic Services, ensuring the delivery of a high-quality, responsive and customer-focused service across the Trust.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing Domestic Services teams to ensure compliance with National Standards of Cleanliness and Trust policies.
  • Leading audit programmes, PLACE assessments and service improvement initiatives.
  • Working closely with Infection Prevention and Control teams to maintain safe patient environments.
  • Managing staffing, recruitment, attendance, appraisals, training and workforce development.
  • Monitoring budgets, resources and expenditure to support efficient service delivery.
  • Investigating complaints and ensuring timely resolution of operational issues.
  • Developing and maintaining standard operating procedures, risk assessments and quality assurance processes.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced Facilities Manager to make a significant contribution to patient safety, service quality and the overall healthcare environment.
