The Operational Divisions and Service Directorates are supported by a range of Corporate Services. These ensure the efficient and effective operation of our core businesses and support the delivery of our performance and regulatory functions. All corporate services staff are specialists who use their professional skills to provide services across the Trust.

Main duties of the job

We are seeking a dedicated Facilities Assistant to join our Facilities Services team, part of the Estates and Facilities Directorate within Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. This role is based at Westminster House, Wells Road, Nottingham, NG3 6AA. Westminster House is an NHS property primarily serving as a hub for regional mental health, forensic, and support services.

This position is part-time, working 15 hours per week, Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays), with shifts from 07:00 to 10:00 each morning. The primary responsibility is to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the premises, following strict infection control and health and safety guidelines. Full training will be provided for all duties, and uniform will be supplied.

The successful applicant may be required to cover other areas when needed. The ability to work effectively and flexibly, both independently and as part of a team, while maintaining a high standard of work, is essential.

Full in-house training will be provided to support your personal development, and you will be supported with all required training. Uniform will also be supplied.

Please note applicants will be required to pay for their DBS check. Costs are deducted from salary following appointment. The cost of the DBS application is £26.40 (standard) or £54.40 (enhanced), this cost will be deducted from your salary over the first 2 months of employment.

You are encouraged to enrol for the DBS Update Service. An annual fee of £16 per year applies.
