Job overview
Support the Specialist Lead MSK Podiatrist in the co-ordination and leadership of the musculoskeletal aspect of care within the Department of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery and play a key role in ensuring the service meets expected results with reference to national and local policies. The post holder must be able to demonstrate a specialist knowledge base within the chosen field including recognised extended scope training (diagnostic ultrasound, injection therapy, joint mobilisation, acupuncture) and act as a role model for providing quality care to patients and an expert training resource to AHP’s, GP’s and other health and social care colleagues.

The Foot Health Service delivers specialist care to a diverse patient population presenting with foot and lower limb conditions, primarily within a primary care setting. Led by an experienced team comprising of Specialist Podiatrists, the service provides comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and management of foot deformities and pathologies.
