Job summary

Are you an experienced, confident General Practitioner looking for a role where you can focus on high-quality clinical care within a highly organised, supportive framework?

Henmore Health is seeking an autonomous clinician to join our medical team, working across our two well-established sites at Ashbourne Surgery and Brailsford Surgery. This position is ideally suited to a self-sufficient, established GP who is fully comfortable with independent practice, ready to hit the ground running from day one without requiring transitional hand-holding or clinical preceptorship.

At Henmore Health, our core philosophy is teamwork, teamwork, teamwork. While we value high clinical autonomy and independent decision-making, you will never practice in isolation. We pride ourselves on a culture of shared responsibility, peer trust, and mutual respect, where every member of our team works collectively to ensure a smooth, efficient, and rewarding working day. In return, we offer a highly competitive and rewarding package that reflects your experience and capabilities.

Main duties of the job

Working within a highly collaborative multidisciplinary team, you will be supported by a robust operational, governance, and administrative infrastructure designed to absorb non-clinical burdens, allowing you to focus on safe, effective patient care.

Your main duties will include:

  • Autonomous Clinical Care: Delivering routine and on-the-day GP appointments, managing complex multi-morbidity caseloads independently.
  • Team Collaboration: Working closely and collaboratively with our wider clinical team, including GP Registrars, ANPs, practice nurses, clinical pharmacists, and administrative staff.
  • Shared Decision-Making: Participating actively in regular clinical meetings, peer support frameworks, and collective clinical problem-solving.
  • Cross-Site Practice: Working fluidly across our 2 sites, with consistent processes across both locations.
  • Quality & Service Improvement: Contributing your insight to practice-wide service improvements and quality initiatives where you have a keen interest.
