An exciting opportunity has arisen within the LGI Estates Buildings team for a maintenance assistant. The building team is made up of several trades including general builders/bricklayers, joiners, painters, floor layers, gardeners etc. so there’s plenty of opportunity to expand your skills and develop.

Your role will involve supporting the safe maintenance, assembly, dismantling, and repair of equipment and the built environment at LGI. As such a large and complex Trust, with a varied estate, you’ll have the opportunity to learn as you work and work with a range of experts, all while supporting our clinical teams so they can continue to deliver excellent patient care.

You will work closely with other Estates Maintenance Workers/Craftsman and contribute to a flexible, skilled workforce capable of responding effectively to a variety of maintenance needs.

This role demands a commitment to safety, teamwork, and ongoing skills development to maintain the highest standards within the Estates department.

The role is a fulltime position providing 37.5hrs per week

A competitive salary – AFC Band 3 £24,937 - £26,598

(Inc. enhancements for unsocial hours.)
