Detailed job description and main responsibilities
Due to the operational nature of the Clinical Engineering and Equipment Library services, postholders are required to work on-site on a full-time basis to ensure effective day-to-day service delivery and a timely response to clinical needs. Working patterns will be agreed in accordance with the needs of the service and the organisational structure. Where applicable, staff may also be expected to participate in an on-call rota, under the supervision of the Equipment Library Manager or a Clinical Engineer, traveling to various clinics across Richmond and Hounslow to support out-of-hours service continuity.
As the Equipment Library service operates on Saturdays, postholders will work on a rota basis, which includes participating in a rotating schedule to provide Saturday cover as required by the service.
