This is a flexible 22.75 hour role worked as a split shift covering mornings and lunchtime support. The hours can be offered as one post or split into two posts, making this ideal if you are returning to work, balancing family commitments, or looking for part time hours with real purpose.

You will support older adults in their own homes, helping them stay independent, safe and well in their community. This is hands on, meaningful work where your time, care and kindness have an immediate impact.

No previous care experience is required. We provide full training, shadowing and ongoing support, so if you have the right values and want to help people, we can teach you the rest.

You will have opportunities to gain SVQ qualifications, build confidence and develop a long term career in health and social care.

We offer an excellent work life balance with a 4 days on, 4 days off shift pattern. Enhancements are paid for nights and weekends.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION FOR CANDIDATES

  • Effective from 1st April 2026, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will be reduced from 37 to 36 hours. Part-time hours will be adjusted on a pro-rata basis. There will be an increase in the hourly rate to ensure that pay remains unaffected.
