Minor Injury Nurse Opportunity – BGH MIU (34.5 Hours)

Are you an experienced Emergency Department nurse with a Minor Injuries qualification, looking to take the next step in your career?

Borders General Hospital Minor Injuries Unit is seeking a motivated and skilled Minor Injury Nurse to join our team on a 34.5-hour basis.

Our service provides a hybrid model of care, managing both:

• Scheduled patients referred via NHS 24, and
• Unscheduled attendances from self-presenting patients to the Emergency Department

This is a vital role within the Emergency Department, supporting patient flow and ensuring individuals receive the right care, in the right place, at the right time.

About You

To be considered, you must:

• Hold a valid ENP (Emergency Nurse Practitioner) qualification or interested in gaining ENP qualification
• Demonstrate a commitment to service development and continuous improvement
