Applications are invited for the post of Healthcare Science Biomedical Support Worker within the Histopathology Department at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.

The role of the Biomedical Support Worker is to participate in a range of tasks to support the Biomedical Scientists and Medical Staff. The post holder will be expected to have an understanding of the range of diagnostic procedures carried out within the laboratory.

Applicants must be educated to a minimum level of SVQ3 or HNC in a Science based subject, preferably Biomedical Science. Previous experience working as a BSW or within a healthcare laboratory setting would be desirable. Full training will be provided.
