The role of Domestic / Station Cleaner plays a key part in our EMAZING Team. The successful candidate, following a schedule, will be responsible for the cleanliness of our Trust Head Quarters - Horizon Place. You will support the cleaning services team by helping to improve the standards of cleanliness and assurance of cleanliness within our sites.

This is a physically demanding role with elements of reaching, crouching, moving between rooms & the movement of items etc.

Main duties of the job

Position available:

10 hours per week   Mon – Fri   17:00 - 19:00 / 18:00 - 20:00

The main area(s) of work for this role is Trust Headquarters - Horizon Place however you may be asked to support in covering other stations and fixed sites from time to time, dependent on service requirements. This will either be within your existing hours or overtime may be offered.

To be considered for this role, it would be advantageous if you have previous cleaning experience and are able to work with limited supervision.

To be successful, you would need to be able to demonstrate that you;

  • Are polite, reliable and responsible
  • Have an understanding of Health and Safety, COSHH and Risk Assessments
  • Have the ability to comply with standard operating procedures and organisational policies
  • Be prepared to undertake training and development
  • Are able to communicate verbally with others clearly & courteously.

Essential

  • Experience of working without supervision

Desirable

  • Pervious work experience as a domestic cleaner.
