Domestic Assistant

Band 2 £26,696 - £28,988 pro rata/per annum

Plus Distant Islands Allowance of £1,461 pro rata/per annum

Monday – Friday between the hours of 13:00 – 19:00

22.56 hours per week

The opportunity has arisen for a Domestic Assistant post, to join our Domestic Services Team within the Uist & Barra Hospital, Balivanich, Isle of Benbecula.

The successful candidate will provide a cleaning service to patients, staff and visitors using effective and efficient methods, which deliver a safe and welcoming environment, and to meet the required standards, as per the National Cleaning Services Specification.

The successful candidate will need to achieve the Mandatory Induction Standards for Healthcare Support Workers and comply with the Code of Conduct within three months of full-time employment or up to six months for part time workers. For further information see www.hcswtoolkit.nes.scot.nhs.uk.

The successful applicant will be required to register with the PVG (Protecting Vulnerable Groups) Scheme. This post is not eligible for relocation expenses or Sponsorship.
