Main duties of the job

The Domestic Assistant role at Akari Care involves working in our award-winning homes to provide excellent care for the elderly. Our aim is to foster an environment where residents are appreciated, respected, and receive tailor-made care. The Domestic Assistant is integral to maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in both private rooms and communal areas, working alongside the domestic and laundry teams. A successful applicant should be adaptable, approachable, and dedicated to improving the living standards of residents while keeping their dignity and individuality intact. This position requires adherence to company policies to ensure the highest care standards. Applicants are expected to demonstrate a caring nature with a personal touch, flexibility, a strong work ethic, and the ability to handle pressure without negatively affecting colleagues or residents.
