Job overview
The post holder will be expected to support their team, department and organisation to achieve the Trust’s objectives and demonstrate the trust values in their day-to-day work. The post holder will deliver the highest level of network technical support to new and existing customers in person, remotely and over the phone.
Main duties of the job
·Work as a member of the Network support team to ensure all support tickets, incidents, service requests and changes are executed in accordance with GMMH Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and change management processes.
- Support the Network Team in the day-to-day management of GMMH networks, which includes wired and wireless networks, SDWAN, Firewalls.
- Input into the daily, weekly and monthly network support checklists.
- Provide a structured approach to diagnosing, assimilating and interpreting operational objectives, risks, and issues.
- To fix diagnosed faults where feasible or to recommend appropriate solutions acknowledging and describing the implications for the end customer and for the internal IT teams.
- Investigate, diagnose, test and resolve faults/problems from internal/external stakeholders to a conclusion.
- Organise platform enhancements/upgrades
- Supervise cabling contractors and 3rd party suppliers/vendors when working on Trust sites. ·Good customer facing skills are essential.
