Job summary

As Digital Clinical Lead, you will have a key role in supporting the safe, effective, and strategic use of more than 30 pharmacy systems across Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust (LTHT). Operating at an advanced level of clinical practice, the role combines specialist pharmaceutical expertise with digital leadership to enhance high-quality, patient-centred care and support the Trusts ambition.

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will be motivated, conscientious, passionate, respectful, and professional, with significant experience in digital health. They will provide expert clinical pharmacy leadership across the design, configuration, implementation, optimisation, and governance of a wide range of systems, including EPMA, Chemocare, aseptic services, and medicines management platforms. The post will also support the implementation of a new EPMA system, ensuring clinical requirements and workflows are translated into digital solutions aligned with national standards, local policies, and evidence-based practice. The postholder will support the operational function of the team managing a small and dedicated team of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians that oversee some of our key clinical systems.
