Job summary

To provide high-quality dermatology care within community outpatient clinics, managing a range of skin conditions through assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. The post holder will work collaboratively with consultant dermatologists and multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, effective, and patient-centred care.

Main duties of the job

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct independent dermatology outpatient clinics.
  • Diagnose and manage a wide range of dermatological conditions.
  • Perform dermatology procedures within competence, including biopsies, cryotherapy, and minor skin surgery.
  • Maintain accurate clinical records and treatment plans.
  • Participate in clinical governance, audit, and quality improvement activities.
  • Work closely with consultants, GPs, and healthcare professionals to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
