Floor 3 Dental Adult & Young People

Main duties of the job

Our success is underpinned by the skills and enthusiasm of our staff and a strong culture of teamwork. We are fully committed to training and development of the Dental Nurses with support for continuing education and learning.

You will gain the opportunity to join a successful, dynamic dental team who have a passion for developing dental nurses and an interest in ensuring that you can maximise your developmental potential whilst gaining further skills and extended duties.

There will be an opportunity to develop your skills in providing more specialist care via training qualifications in sedation, Oral Health education, implantology etc.

We provide a varied and competency-based induction programme to support you in your development within the service.

The recruitment process involves the following stages:

● Interviews will be held on a Saturday and will include a tour of the hospital.

  • Maintain accurate patient’s files/X-rays transfer data to database display an appreciation for the importance of this.
  • Ability to work under own initiative without direct supervision.
  • Ability to work as part of a team with a professional approach towards work and colleagues.

  • IT skills – Maintain personal Record and general information data entry, text processing.
