Job summary

An opportunity has arisen for a qualified dental nurse to work in our busy Oral Surgery Outpatient Department part time 16 hours per week. The ideal person will be an enthusiastic hard working person. The successful candidate must hold a current GDC registration. The successful candidate must have excellent communication skills and a positive approach to patient centred care.

Main duties of the job

As the qualified dental nurse, you will assist the clinician in all oral surgery procedures, providing support and advice to the patient in the oral surgery department. You will demonstrate compliance with the responsibilities and registration to practice with the General Dental Council

Job responsibilities

We are looking for a dedicated professional to join our dynamic Oral Surgery service.

You will work as part of a team providing a high level of clinical care within the Oral Surgery Service.

As well as working in Clinics you will be trained to work within a theatre setting assisting in local anaesthetic lists and working within the multi-disciplinary team in the head and neck oncology clinics.
