Cheshire Young Person Mental Health Service  (CYPMHS previously CAMHS) Eating Disorder Service is a therapy-based service which offers support to children and young people with Eating Disorders and wider moderate to severe mental health difficulties and their families and carers. We work in close alignment with the Local Authority, education, acute hospitals and the voluntary sector. Our aim is to ensure that children receive the right support, from the right service at the right time.

Prior experience in eating disorders is desirable but not essential as training will be provided.

We are a friendly, supportive and committed team, who offer a range of opportunities to staff to develop their skills to improve service provision and most importantly the experience of young people accessing the service.

Main duties of the job

The successful applicant will be an experienced clinician who will work closely with CYPMHS leads, members of the Eating Disorder Team and members of core CYPMHS  to provide assessment and intervention within a multi-disciplinary team. The successful candidate will be committed to help to develop and drive the CYPMHS Cheshire East Eating Disorder Team forward and have experience or a be able to demonstrate a strong working knowledge of working within this specialist area
