We are looking for an enthusiastic, full-time Learning Disability Nurse or Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join our East & South Cheshire Learning Disability Children and Young People's Mental Health Service (CYPMH). Main duties of the job

Main Responsibilities of the Specialist Role - Manage a defined clinical caseload of children and young people aged 0–18 who have mild to moderate learning disabilities and present with behaviours that challenge, working within our multidisciplinary 0–18 CYPMH Team.

Operate with professional autonomy whilst engaging collaboratively with colleagues to deliver person-centred, evidence-based interventions tailored to individual needs.

Provide consultation and guidance on Positive Behaviour Support (PBS), drawing on your specialist knowledge to help support children and young people with learning disabilities.

Act as a champion for SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) within the team, promoting greater awareness and understanding, and supporting an inclusive approach to care.

This specialist clinical role places you at the forefront of supporting children and young people with learning disabilities, ensuring they receive expert, compassionate care that makes a lasting difference to their lives.
