The sectors are reviewed in line with the changing profile of population and reflects the deprivation, referral patterns and throughput to ensure equitability among the four General Adult Community Consultants.
A full list of GPs and referral patterns are available.
The under 16 population is 60,000 and the over 65 population 40,000. The nominal catchment population therefore for each of the six General Adult Psychiatrists is just under 30,000.
The post holder will be based at the Barnett House, Community Mental Health Team on Weston Street, Bolton, where the other General Adult Community Psychiatrists are also based.
