Job overview

As the post holder, you will:

  • autonomously lead the Adjuvant and Neo-Adjuvant SACT, first line palliative SACT service managing a cohort of patients from MDT to follow up and discharge.
  • Be expected to hold New Patient and Follow Up outpatient clinics, prescribing Intravenous and Oral SACT.
  • be a key member of the MDT, liaising with surgical and oncology consultant colleagues in patient management plans.

Full time: 37.5 hours per week

As the post holder, you will provide leadership to the Oncology Clinical Nurse Specialist team with support from the Oncology Service Director and Oncology Matron. Shared Decision Making, Education and training for CNS and Registrars, and Service Improvement are key to the leadership model.
