The consultants in our current team have varied sub-specialty interests including rheumatology, infectious diseases, respiratory, gastroenterology and emergency medicine.
We are supported by a large multidisciplinary team of junior trainees, clinical fellows, ACPs and a dedicated physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and NMP pharmacy team for our unit. We have excellent record of developing and retaining senior nursing colleagues for our unit.
This truly is an exciting time to join North Manchester General Hospital. A once-in-a-generation opportunity will see our hospital rebuilt and the creation of a health hub within our grounds. This creates a rare opportunity to become involved with these changes and part of the new future of the site. We are part of Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust which unites multiple hospitals and providers of community services.
MFT delivers care to approximately 750,000 people across 10 hospital sites. We are changing the way care is delivered to address health inequalities in our region. We are proud of our history, serving North Manchester communities since 1876. One of the first things you will realise when you join us is the community feel and the supportive and nurturing culture.
