Main duties of the job
This appointment is for a Consultant Medical Oncologist with an interest in Gynaecological cancers and Acute Oncology. This is split with 1 day spent at Salisbury District Hospital and 2 days at University Hospital Southampton.
This post will consist of 6.25 PAs per week.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
You will be responsible for supporting the delivery of safe, effective, and patient-centred care while working collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation. You will join the Medical Oncology consultant team, specifically:
- To provide specialist Medical Oncology input with expertise in Chemotherapy and Immunotherapy for these groups of patients.
- To treat patients with Gynaecological cancers at UHS and SDH
- To provide oncology input to the UHS/SDH Gynae MDTs
- To provide Consultant review post take in Acute Oncology
