We are looking for a Respiratory Consultant to join our team in delivering high-quality respiratory medical services at University Hospitals of Tees. The successful candidate will have a subspecialist focus on TB, COPD and Pleural diseases.
The successful applicant will join the enthusiastic and well-established respiratory team to provide clinical sessions within the Department of Respiratory Medicine.
The primary base will be the James Cook University Hospital, Middlesbrough.
Main duties of the job
The post is outpatient and inpatient respiratory based. The post holder will contribute to Respiratory evening and weekend on-call commitments (1:7 weekends depending on the number of consultants) as part of the overall job plan.
This post is based predominantly at the James Cook University Hospital with the expectation to provide some cross site cover at the University Hospital North Tees, Stockton. Office accommodation and secretarial support will be provided, as will computer/internet access.
The full detail of the job plan will be negotiated and agreed between the successful applicant and the Clinical Director.
