Required to fill one replacement post within the Older Peoples Medicine Department at the St Jamess University Hospital.
The Older Peoples Medicine Department at Leeds Teaching Hospital Trust is a dynamic, forward-thinking team with a strong track record of clinical excellence, education and innovation. The successful candidate will join a large team of Consultant colleagues, supported by a team of resident doctors of all grades, Advanced Clinical Practitioners and 4 Physician Assistants, who are committed to delivering high-quality care to a diverse patient population. This is an exciting opportunity to join the Older Peoples Medicine Team. The post has the opportunity to focus on Orthogeriatrics and bone health including inpatient orthogeriatric care, perioperative optimisation, rehabilitation planning and involvement in the development of integrated frailty pathways. The department is actively engaged in service transformation aligned with the Trusts Hospital of the Future programme, offering opportunities for leadership, innovation and teaching.
