In relation to this post, it is a full time (10 PA) replacement consultant post within the Pathology Clinical Support Unit to support the provision of pathology services to The Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust (LTHT) and the region. Our department works in a collaborative and flexible way to deliver a sub-specialised pathology service tailored to the needs of the tertiary centre.
In relation to this post, it is a full time (10 PA) replacement consultant post within the Pathology Clinical Support Unit to support the provision of pathology services to The Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust (LTHT) and the region. Our department works in a collaborative and flexible way to deliver a sub-specialised pathology service tailored to the needs of the tertiary centre. The appointee will have specialist experience in Gynaecological pathology. We have developed the principles of the Royal College of Pathologists guidelines to try and achieve full staffing and an equitable distribution of work among the consultants in our department. Any candidate who is unable to work the full time for personal reasons will be eligible to be considered for the post. If such a person is appointed, modification of the job content will be discussed on a personal basis with the Trust in consultation with consultant colleagues.
