An exciting opportunity has become available for a full-time Phlebotomist to join our busy and supportive team, providing a high-quality phlebotomy service to patients within an integrated team working across the community, this includes: Community Nursing, Intermediate Care and Community Matrons.
Main duties of the job
- To deliver high quality care to the housebound patients of Paignton and Brixham and work as part of multi-disciplinary team and in partnership with primary care and secondary care.
- An ability to effectively communicate routine information to patients/carers where co-operation is required and where there may be barriers to understanding
- Responsible for planning and organising own day to day work tasks and activities within an occasionally unpredictable environment
- To obtain high quality blood samples from patients in the home environment

Ability to travel efficiently around the Bay is important in order to carry out your duties (e.g. Full driving licence and vehicle).
