Main duties of the job

Join our dedicated Ashford Community Nursing Team delivering high-quality, personalised care to housebound patients with complex and long-term conditions across East Kent. Our goal is simple: to help patients remain safe, supported, and independent in their own homes.

Working closely within Primary Care Networks, you’ll be part of an integrated multidisciplinary team, gaining valuable experience across a diverse caseload. You’ll be fully supported to develop advanced clinical skills through a range of training opportunities.

Your role will include delivering evidence-based care such as:

• Palliative and end-of-life care, including symptom control and advance care planning
• Medication administration, including IV therapy
• Wound care management (leg ulcers, surgical wounds, drains)
• Bladder and bowel care, including catheter care and removal
• Health promotion and supporting patients to manage long-term conditions

You will also manage your own caseload, provide education to patients and carers, and support unregistered colleagues.
