Locala is welcoming applications from caring, motivated, and enthusiastic Nurse Associates to join our Community Nursing Network teams. Whether you are newly qualified or have experience, we will support you to thrive in your role.

We have nine teams across North Kirklees and Greater Huddersfield, delivering high-quality care to patients in their own homes and local communities.

As a Band 4 Nurse Associate, you will play a vital role in supporting registered nurses and the wider team to provide person-centred care, carrying out delegated clinical tasks, and helping patients manage their health needs effectively.

Our service operates between 8am and 9pm, with core hours of 8am-5pm. You will work a minimum of one weekend in four and two late shifts (1pm-9pm) over a four-week period.

This role is not applicable for sponsorship and candidates must be able to demonstrate their right to work in the UK.

Main duties of the job

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering safe, compassionate care under the direction of a registered nurse.
  • Carrying out delegated clinical tasks such as wound care, observations, and supporting medication administration within your scope of practice.
  • Supporting patients with long-term conditions to promote independence and self-care.
  • Contributing to health promotion and service improvement initiatives.
